StarCraft 2

If you have a question that isn't answered here, toss me an e-mail (krizz@tehkrizz.net), and I will add it.

Q. Every time I try to open the FFXIV client, it immediately crashes. What can I do?
A. This problem is being caused primarily by ATI video cards. Ensure that you have the latest drivers for your video card. This site should help you get started. If you do not have an ATI card, you should still check with your manufacturer for the latest driver. (Note: Do not rely on Windows to tell you that your driver is outdated.)

Q. Does FFXIV support crossfire?
A. At this time, performance is better with crossfire disabled.

Q. How do I get my in-game items from FFXIII, FFXIV Collector's Edition, or FFXIV Standard Edition?
A. Follow these steps:
→ To receive the in-game bonus items that come with FINAL FANTASY XIII (initial batch only), FINAL FANTASY XIV Collector's Edition, or FINAL FANTASY XIV Standard Edition, you will need to register the item codes which comes with the corresponding product. To register an item code, please follow the steps below:

1. Log into the Square Enix Account Management System (https://secure.square-enix.com/account/)
2. Select the "Select Service" option under "Service and Options"
3. Select "FINAL FANTASY XIV," and then "Add a service account"
4. Enter the corresponding item code, and then select "Next"

* The in-game bonus item will apply to the corresponding FINAL FANTASY XIV service account once the registration is complete.
* When you create a character on the corresponding FINAL FANTASY XIV service account, the character will start off with the in-game bonus item in possession. Please note that characters created prior to the registration of the item code(s) will not receive the in-game bonus item, so make sure you register the code prior to the creation process.
Q. My game is running laggy. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

A. The FFXIV config has a few options you can tweak to speed up your game's performance. The below settings shoiuld give you ok graphics with good speed. Based off of your hardware, you will probably need to tweak it either up or down. (Note: This is based off of the FFXIV beta. The retail config has an additional option for hardware mouse which is - and should be - checked by default.)

Disclaimer: I don't own any of this. Downloading a copy of a game you do not own is illegal. Any game downloads are intended for backup purposes. SE is so awesome and really doesn't want to send me a C&D letter.
